New Look

Well, as you can see I have changed the look of my blog. Although everyone has probably given up on me and my ability to post, I decided to go with a new look to symbolize a fresh start. I am going to try to keep up with semi-regular posts. First of all, I am engaged and have been for about a month, but you all probably know that because Carson (my fiance) already posted that and you all read his blog, so old news. Anyways, more to come... hopefully. God Bless

Crazier Things Have Happened...

Ok, so, first of all I know that I am a terrible blogger, and I realize that people probably don't even read my blog anymore, but that is ok because this one is kinda personal anyway. I have found that for the first time, I am actually wondering about my future and literally have no idea what I am going to do. Me and Carson are great friends with Jon and Whitney and we hang out with them (well, we try) on a regular basis. So, naturally when they told us they were moving to Kentucky we were excited for them, yet sad and nervous that we won't ever find such a great couple to hang out with. Well, this feeling continued until Carson mentioned that one of the law schools he was looking at was in Kentucky. I didn't really think anything of it, considering, he was looking at like 20-30 schools. However, Carson has said that it is one of his top choices considering the price and all the other factors that are on his chart. Yes... he has mad a chart of all the schools and their positive and negative factors... Surprising? No, its not. Anyways, this was a big deal. I mean, all of a sudden there was a possibility of being with Jon and Whit. Sounds like fun. But still Carson was assuring me that it was not likely. However, we keep discussing it and it has actually come up that maybe we should go to KY even if he does not go to law school because, first of all, The University of Kentucky has an Athletic Training Master's Program, and those are very uncommon and that is what I want to get a Masters in, it would be a great opportunity to live outside of California, go to a great school with accredited Masters programs, and have close friends to be right there with us. Well, I think this could be a great thing. However, the past couple days I have been thinking... What if we did?! What if we moved to Kentucky? That would be crazy! I would be away from my family and from the state I have always lived in. It would be totally out of my comfort zone. However, Jon and Whitney would be there so it wouldn't be completely foreign and my sister, brother-in-law and nephew live in Virginia so we would be closer to them as well. Also, it would be a great time to establish a marriage on our own and really rely on each other. As I have thought this through profusely, which I normally don't do, I have come to the conclusion that I am completely open to moving to Kentucky. I don't know if this is more than just a possibility or if we are truly deciding whether or not to do this or how close we are to making a decision, but I know that I could definitely do it and find myself actually kind of wanting to... weird. Anyways, I guess its something we have to pray about, and who knows... in a couple years, maybe we will be living in Kentucky... Crazier Things Have Happened...

Wow...

Ok, so I know that it has been forever since I have blogged, but, after Thanksgiving, I felt inspired. Anyways, as always, me and my family went to Sacramento because that is where most of my family (onboth sides) lives. Usually we go to my Grandma and Grandpa's house and hang out, and usually play some sort of competitive game of football, or baseball. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, and it has gone back and forth between Thanksgiving and Christmas for a long time, and I still love Christmas, but Thanksgiving is just about being with the Family and just enoying their company... and FOOD. My Grandma is the best cook ever and her turkey and gravy would make your knees buckle. And, I love my Grandparents, they are such great role models for marriage, stewardship, and Christianity. They have taught me so much, and seeing them at Thanksgiving always makes me so happy.
However, not too long ago, my Grandma was told she had Melanoma, skin cancer, and she was supposed to have surgery the day after Thanksgiving, but she could still be at Thanksgiving Day. But, she got sick with the flu and the surgery was postponed. Then she had to go to the hospital on Thanksgiving so she wasn't there and we al went to my uncle's house. It was still fun, and we all hung out and played football, rode the 4 wheelers... but something was missing. I missed my Grandparents and I worry for my Grandma. I just pray that they will be able to treat this. And last year wont be the last Thanksgiving she was at.
Anyways, I love Thanksgiving, and it truly is a time to be with family and enjoy the people you love.

Nothin Much...

Hello everybody! First of all, I am very sorry to those who have checked my Blog the past three weeks in anticipation of a new post. I have been kinda busy and very tired and just never got around to it. Again, I apologize. Well, Barry Bonds finally hit 756. I have to say, I am glad it finally happened, for many reasons. It has been a long time coming for Giants fans, so it is good to see him finally do it. Also, now I feel like the Giants will be more likely to trade him and we can finally start over. I mean, I like Barry Bonds, it is just time for a fresh start.
Anyways, that was just a little side note. Right now I am in Fresno for the weekend to pack for college. I am going back to CBU on the 19th, which is next weekend and I am super excited. This summer has been great, but I am ready to see my firends and be back in the swing of things. Anyways, this is my last week at camp and it does make me a little sad, but just thinking that I will be back at CBU with Carson, and everyone else... ahhh, I just get so excited!!! So, thus starts the countdown...
6 days!

Hume Lake

Well, we are enjoying our time at Hume. Today, we had breakfast, me and Cars went frisbee golfing, we came home and played the Wii, I took a nap, we went frisbee golfing with the rest of the family, and then we had dinner and went to the church service they have every night. It was really good today. We learned about the 2nd commandment. It was really good. Well, as promised, I am posting some pictures taken with my new camera. I still love that camera!! Anyways, the pictures you are viewing are of the lake... Hume Lake, obviously, Me and Cars in the cabing we are staying at, and me and Cars on a bench looking at the Lake. We've had fun so far. But I leave tomorrow which will be sad because I won't see him again until August 19th. Well, enjoy!!!

New Camera...

Well, This weekend I am in Hume Lake with the Belmont family. We just got here today and already we are having fun. However, more blogs about Hume will come in the near future. This blog is going to be about the new toy I bought. Today I got a new digital camera! I am super excited about it. It is a Canon Powershot SD750. So far I really like it, even though I have only had it a day. For your viewing pleasure I decided to post a picture of my new camera. It's a beauty. Anyways, I am excited because now I can take pictures of Me and Cars (obviously) and me and my friends, and Me, Cars, Jon and Whit (special highlight for you guys... thought you'd like it.) Well, Look forward to more Hume Lake updates and of course... Pictures!!!
